happened when Jill Candusso and Anne Sych joined talents to form
JillAnne Design.
Jill Candusso has worked on the
Virginia Peninsula in many areas of home design. As a commissioned
artist she has painted custom decorative murals in homes, as
well as providing her clients with recommendations in decorative
color choices. Jill has also worked as a furnishings
merchandiser, keeping her up to date with the latest furniture
styles and trends. Her degree in graphic design and strong
sense of style (not to mention her cheerful personality) equip
Jill with the expertise needed to bring the "joy that comes
with good design" to her clients.
Anne Sych has been serving the
Peninsula since 2000 with Connections Interiors, specializing in
window treatments and home decor. Area realtors are
especially pleased with Connections' home
staging service, which helps homeowners prepare their home
for resale, allowing them to sell their homes faster and at the
best price. Anne has a long list of satisfied, and repeat
clients who are very pleased to get custom decorating services
at affordable prices.
Builders Services:
Jill and Anne have joined together to work with area builders to
furnish their model homes or apartments. JillAnne design works with local stores to get you the best furnishings at the
best price, taking advantage of our established relationships
and current promotions. Most designers work from catalogs
and charge you a commission on the total purchases - we
decorate your model with the same integrity in value purchasing
as if it were our own home. We work with your plans,
define your design style goals, and work within your budget to
design an environment that will show off your building design
and entice your visitors to want to buy.
Projects:
Jill and Anne are currently working with custom home builder
Wade Garnett, of Garnett
Construction, on the May, 2008 Yorktown, Parade of
Homes. This custom home, named
"Tranquility" is over 4400 sq. feet, and brings
the "outdoors in" to a clean and spa like
environment. The project scope includes:
- selection of exterior and
interior brick, tile, and flooring materials
- selection of all cabinetry and
architectural built-ins
- design and materials selection
for 4 fireplaces, including outdoor kitchen
- selection of lighting and
fixtures
- general design influence &
recommendations to builder
- all home furnishings on loan
for the Parade of Homes show
- custom window treatments
throughout the home
